Advantages of all-in-one machine

In general, the all-in-one computer is a new form of PC that integrates the host and display. The main feature is that it has a large screen only available for desktop computers. At the same time, the performance of the whole machine is much better than that of notebooks. Compared with the notebook, it is more suitable for games. At the same time, due to the reduction in volume, the all-in-one computer eliminates the trouble of wiring than the desktop computer. After using the all-in-one computer, the desktop can be much cleaner. At the same time, the reduction in volume can make it easier to place the computer on the desktop.

to configure

Many players choose desktops and like desktops because of their powerful performance. In this respect, although the all-in-one computer is much stronger than the laptop, it still appears to be "lacking in combat power" compared with the desktop computer. Most of the all-in-one computers now use the CPU of the desktop computer, but the mobile graphics card on the laptop is still selected for the graphics card that is crucial for playing games, which is not only weak in performance but also not easy to replace, A large number of brand all-in-one machines use entry-level display chips, which can only perform simple operations such as office, audio-visual entertainment, etc. it is basically a luxury to play large-scale games.

On the one hand, the use of mobile chips is due to cost considerations. On the other hand, the main reason is the heat dissipation of the all-in-one machine. In the final analysis, the heat dissipation performance of the all-in-one machine is not much better than that of the notebook. Most of the hardware of the whole machine is squeezed into the small space behind the screen. The heat generated by the hardware under high-frequency operation and the heat generated by the screen are concentrated on the back. If there are obstacles such as walls, Heat dissipation will be more difficult. In this regard, desktop computers generally have good heat dissipation due to their large internal space

dissipate heat

Although the all-in-one machine solves the problem of whether there is a large screen to play games, the actual game experience is still relatively poor. For example, there may be a jam and high temperature in the game. Although many all-in-one machines shout the slogan of e-sports, it can be seen from the real E-sports field that the players still use traditional desktop machines.

screen

Although the all-in-one machine has a large size screen, due to cost constraints and other reasons, the screen of the display is generally selected from non large manufacturers, lacking in color gamut and color standard. Although ordinary players may not see it, for professional E-sports users, details are the decisive factor. In addition to Apple's all-in-one computer, Apple's all-in-one computer screen has always been a great advantage and its quality is extremely high. But Apple computer is not suitable for playing games. If you do some design work, apple all-in-one computer is highly recommended.

DIY

It is believed that most of the players who choose desktop computers are those who "play" with hardware, and the biggest pain point is the convenience of DIY of all-in-one computers. Because the internal design of all-in-one computers is relatively compact, although it is more customized than that of notebooks, its DIY performance is still relatively weak. Once the performance lags behind, it can only wait for elimination in most cases. Of course, under the same performance, the price of all-in-one computer is much more expensive than that of desktop computer.

The performance of DIY is mainly reflected in two aspects. First, the design of the all-in-one machine is generally compact, and the space available for its internal hardware is relatively small. Once it is damaged, it is difficult to replace it. At the same time, the internal compact space also adds more difficulties to the modification of DIY. Therefore, many well-known manufacturers have indicated on the back of the back shell that there is no warranty after disassembly, which is equivalent to prohibiting some internal modifications at the official level. While the traditional desktop computer has nearly unlimited customized solutions, players can express their own personal ideas with their own machines by themselves.

On the other hand, there are some limitations on the hardware size. Nowadays, many hardware like graphics card and heat sink. The power supply tends to be bigger and bigger, and these hardware can not be plugged into the integrated machine normally, so some high-performance accessories are directly excluded from the integrated machine. Similarly, due to the limitation of volume, water cooling and other modifications can not be carried out. Players can only choose the more expensive water cooling model when the main machine leaves the factory.

Which one is suitable for playing games, an all-in-one computer or a desktop computer

From the above disadvantages, it can be seen that due to these problems, the all-in-one computer is still difficult to replace the desktop computer in a short period of time, and the players hope that the configuration of the all-in-one computer can be further upgraded to meet the more needs of the players. The all-in-one computer is located in the middle of the desktop and notebook. I hope that its future development can better absorb the advantages of both and develop its own characteristics.
